Adobong Bulalo sa Calamansi

Ingredients:
2 kg. beef shanks
1 cup MOTHER’S BEST TOYOMANSI
½ cup calamansi juice
2 heads garlic peeled
1 tbsp. coarsely ground black pepper
3 pcs.bay leaves
½ cup fried chopped garlic

Procedures:
a.    Sear beef shanks, a couple at a time in casserole with in a little oil until well-browned on all sides. Set aside.
b.   In the same casserole, saute whole garlic cloves. Add MOTHER’S BEST TOYOMANSI and calamansi juice, black pepper, bay                  leaves and add beef shanks back.
c.    Add a bit of water just to cover the beef and simmer covered until beef is tender.
d.   When beef is tender, take it out and reduce sauce further. Once thick enough to your liking, adjust seasoning to your                          preference. (More toyomansi, pepper or calamansi)
e.    Place beef back to reheat and serve with fried garlic sprinkled on top.
f.    Serve hot and enjoy!
